GUEST ARTIST - ANN DAHL

 It is fun to see art in most everything Ann sees. She has been recycling license plates for years and finds great joy in putting word signs together. It brings happiness and inspiration to others. Ann has added letter key chains and bracelets all recycled from used license plates.

HERE COMES SANTA CLAUS OPENS!

Opening day for Here Comes Santa Claus was filled with excitement as customers made their discoveries among displays of fantastical works in concrete, hypertufa, and recycled paper.  Our artists have created a dazzling collection of handmade gifts for you, your home and those on your holiday gift list. Come join us, there is so much to discover!

Debbie is hosting Thanksgiving at her home in the Flint Hills.  She custom-ordered these wonderful large scale hypertufa troughs to hold plantings of assorted prairie grassses.  They will provide a stunning display as guests look out across her large back patio.  While these are big, they are much lighter in weight than a concrete planter.   Because they are still curing and still held quite a bit of water weight, it took Connor, Frank and me to get them loaded into the pick-up truck.

This signature wreath will greet you when you come to visit our garden studio retail event.  Nathan and I made it from boxwood, amaranth, soldago, ageratum, celosia, strawflowers and sedum- all harvested from the autumn garden.

NEW- GARDEN STEPPING STONES

 Inpired by prehistoric cave painting images, these horses will gallop through your garden. 

Two sizes of mosaic sun stones will add a touch of sparkle to the garden path, a classic icon for the garden.

"Let there be Peace on Earth" is the message on this new MAILABLE stepping stone.  This stone will be featured along with our hanging leaf water basins and bird/leaf platters in a display of items that all fit into the medium-sized shipping box of the US Postal Service.  You can mail this box anywhere with anything inside for only $10.95.

GUEST ARTIST - JEANNE ELMER

Jeanne’s art is inspired by all things miniature, childhood memories and by the art of Joseph Cornell. She loves creating tiny alternate realities, captured and preserved behind glass. Gathering what she calls “little’s”, gleaned from estate sales and flea markets, Jeanne re-assembles them and displays them in small metal boxes made with lead-free solder. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and, as with Cornell’s work, her pieces create a magical dream like effect. The pendant necklaces can be housed in their shrine boxes for display when the necklace is not being worn.

NEW! FUSED GLASS STAR STAKE

John Cain, one of our newest artists, collaborated with me on this snazzy fused glass star stake.  The glass star ornament dangles in the center of the stake adding interesting movement.  For added interest and night appeal, this stake can easily be wrapped with small white lights.

GUEST ARTIST- NINA WARD

Greetings from Nina Ward!  She was born and raised in the Midwest and travels a lot going to festivals and crafts shows selling my Gourmet Cheese Dips. She loves to dance, cook, garden and take in a good movie. Nina will be sampling her gourmet dips at the Here Comes Santa Claus retail event.  She will be here in person at our Evening for the Senses on Thursday, November 17 from 4-9 pm.  Don't miss this...these dips are amazing!
