For the fun of it, I made these little Santas out of concrete and decided to use the colors of our Heaven and Nature Sing color palette in a less traditional manner. They'll greet your guests out on your front porch or you can stick him in your bird bath so the birds can get in on the holiday spirit!
The more creative she is, the more creative she becomes. Ann has discovered that when she allows herself the time to create and to do the things she loves, it is all she wishes to do. It is fun to see the potential for artwork in found objects. Ann loves to reinvent and recycle license plates and finds great joy in putting new words and phrases together a sign together for a twist that sure to make someone happy.

This past summer we made more hypertufa than ever. Over 135 eager people learned how to make and work with our recycled paper version. It is exciting to see people having so much fun creating special things for there gardens. There will be new hypertufa planters at our Holiday Gift Open House. Our icons this season include angels, stars, jumbo beads and leaves, sure to make a unique statement in your home and garden.
Scott Feemster is a terrific metalworker from Excelsior Springs, MO. You can view his work on his website, scottsmetalworx.com. We collaborated on the two new items above. I have always wanted a bird cage trellis to fit into the large wedge hypertufa planters. The trellis even sports a little concrete bird at the top! Scott also helped me work out a new way to use my garden stones- as an accent table top. They come in 18" and 24" sizes. These items and more of Scott's work will be a great addition to our Holiday Gift Open House.
