Guests Artist: BEMBY YOCUM

Artist Bemby Yocum uses her years of experience as a greeting card artist to create fun and inspirational items for your home. This year Bemby added brightly colored birds to her pallet wood designs. The birds can also be purchased separately so you can perch them on your window sill, around your home or on other pallet wood signs that she will have at the sale.
Bemby's bud vases on pallet wood can easily be combined with her inspirational wall signs to bring a bit of nature inside, encourage and bring joy to all who enter your home.
Some of her new designs can be used as a chalkboard, or you can hang a notepad or important things you do not want to forget. Either way the natural branch will keep your chalk or pencil handy. Choose any number of Bemby's other designs, to pair with it to create a fun message center.
Bemby's pallet wood signs are simply stated and designed to fit into any decor. Although Bemby loves color, you will find some of her birds simply done as well. Again, there will be some birds that will be available to purchase separately.
You'll find a nice selection of Bemby's artwork at our spring Sale, HOME IS THE HEART OF LIFE. We're open Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday's through May, 10:00-5:00

Nancy works with me in the art department at The Printery House.  One common interest we share is in the making of jams and jellies.  I am pretty much a jam freak but Nancy really loves the clarity of a well-made jelly and the resulting beautiful natural colors unique to each.  She makes the usual stuff but enjoys trying new varieties as as well.  Today she brought in these jellies made from lilacs. The darker color is made with purple flowers and the lighter champagne, from white lilacs.  The jelly tastes just like the flowers smell!  Yum..........
