MISSION ARTS COUNCIL ART SHOW- SEPTEMBER 2013

The Arts Coucil of the City of Mission, KS invited From the Summer's Garden to be part of their art show during the month of September 2013.  The show featuring local Kansas artists is on display at the Sylvester Powell Community Center in Mission, KS.  I do not often let myself get talked into doing shows because moving and hanging heavy concrete pieces isn't my idea of fun.  Suzie Gibbs, art chairperson, did a convincing sell job and it will indeed be a fun event. We decided to feature our sculptural UNITS and GARDENFOLK Collections as well as selected stepping stones and totems.

A simple system of display boards leaned against the wall helped us to organize and make the job of displaying these pieces more effective.
