Jeanne’s art is
inspired by all things miniature, childhood memories and by the art of Joseph
Cornell. She loves creating tiny alternate realities, captured and preserved
behind glass. Gathering what she calls “little’s”, gleaned from estate sales
and flea markets, Jeanne re-assembles them and displays them in small metal
boxes made with lead-free solder. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and, as with
Cornell’s work, her pieces create a magical dream like effect. The pendant
necklaces can be housed in their shrine boxes for display when the necklace is
not being worn.
