Natalie started her pottery career studying under master potter
Judy Thompson. In 2009 she started
teaching wheel throwing classes at The Potter’s Obsession in south Kansas City
and is now part owner. Along with her love of clay is a love for garden
art. Of course, shes's a natural to join our ranks and we are exicted to have Natialie join us for some fun at The Summer’s Garden. She tried a new technique on the humming bird feeders and bells where she gently splashed glaze or colored slip onto round pieces to leave a perfect
teardrop shape as well as other shapes like circles and stripes. Her glazes are bright and vibrant blues, purples,
greens and punches of tangerine tango, the 2012 color of the year. Natalie has a wonderful selection of toad houses, fairy gardens, bells, feeders and even ceramic totem components.
